TRIBAL COUNCIL #8
Welcome back to Tribal Council. I will remind you that we have entered into a new phase. Every person voted out from this point on, will be a member of the Jury. The Jury of 7 will ultimately decide who will be the Sole Survivor.
Before we vote, please answer the question assigned to you. Post your answers on this thread.
Alicia, after the surprising events with last Tribal Council, how important was it for you to win Immunity?
Debb, with a unanimous vote last Tribal Council, do you think this vote will draw a line? Why or why not?
Elisabeth, are Tribal lines concrete or is there still room for maneuvering??
Jeff, is it easy to trust people at this point? Why or why not??
Keith, you were involved in some controversy last vote. Do you think you're a target because of this? Why or why not?
Michael, with the added element of the Jury, how does strategy change?
Mitchell, what can one do to take the target off of themselves and put it on someone else?
Nick, what kind of qualities in a player do you find threatening?
Tina, is there a newfound hope for the Ogakor members that this is a truly individual game? Why or why not?
You will send your votes to the Host in the forum's "Messages" (Not the Google Hangout). Please title the message "Tribal Council 8"
When voting, please provide a few reasons why you are voting this person.
You are voting somebody out of the Tribe. Votes are due 8:00 PM Thurs. Sept. 3. Anyone who fails to vote in this time period, will cast a penalty vote against themselves.

I don't feel as if I needed to win but it's always nice to have immunity.

Nick, what kind of qualities in a player do you find threatening?
I don't know if "threatened" is the right word but people who don't make attempts to talk to me are the people I would be most concerned about. I know everyone is tip toe-ing around game conversations but a lack of any conversation will make you assume the worst.

I think strategies now change on the way that people are gonna be voted out, now that jury has started its more important to not upset many members on the jury or you’ll have no way of getting votes if you manage to make it that far

Jeff, is it easy to trust people at this point? Why or why not??
I think it is always difficult in a game like this to blindly trust people one hundred percent; but you just have to take a leap of faith that the people you choose to be with are genuine and working towards a common goal. You have to try to turn off the lingering paranoia that can sometimes get you in trouble by causing you not to trust.

Tina, is there a newfound hope for the Ogakor members that this is a truly individual game? Why or why not?
I think after the last tribal there is a nice ease amongst the entire tribe. It really felt as if we (Ogakor) could connect with Kucha on a new level. At the same time Kucha is very close, I think it's still Ogakor vs. Kucha which is unfortunate because we are extra votes and players that are willing to work with Kucha. It feels as if there is still so much hesitation when it comes to working together.

Keith, you were involved in some controversy last vote. Do you think you're a target because of this? Why or why not?
Every night I go to sleep thinking, 'are these bitches conspiring against me?' And now, I'm quite confident that the answer is yes.
Last vote I was so impressed that everyone stood up for 1) what was right, and 2) really thought about what is best for their own game. Whichever is the most prominent, it doesn't matter anymore. It allowed me to play another challenge which I really enjoyed so THANK YOU, one last time.
That being said, Oga-three knew it would be an uphill battle, I've tried my best to build relationships quickly and play hard.
The tough part is knowing that one particular person in this room approached us with a name, and that name was Jeff. 'Music to my ears' I thought, here's a chance to play another challenge! Unfortunately this individual wasn't successful in persuading just one more person to turn on their 6 strong tribe, and has since ghosted us. I guess some conversations are just too difficult to have, screen to screen.
I'm sure she has told you that we plucked Jeff's name out of thin air. If there is one thing I am, it is honest. I can absolutely assure you the name DID NOT come from any of us three, and came from this person. My vote tonight is going to be for this person. There is a traitor in the mists and if you want to join me, feel free! Watch out Jeff... she's coming for you!

Lines are always drawn in a game like survivor. If you see the lines, that’s a whole other story

Mitchell, what can one do to take the target off of themselves and put it on someone else?
Well at this point of the game it's an individual game so this question applies differently to every individual. For some it's best for them to stay quiet and sit in their majority, for others they're going to be outside of that alliance. We obviously have 6 former Kucha members and my guts telling me there's 3 or 4 of them working together so this may have been the last round to make a move. So unfortunately my fear of being taken out one by one that I brought up last tribal may come to reality and make this a very underwhelming end to this game. The sucky part is now I actually like everyone here after bonding over the last round but the silence I did experience this round was disappointing. As for the target on my own personal back it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere and it's just because I started on a different tribe, not because I am hurting their game which is really what people should be worried about.
