TRIBAL COUNCIL #7
Welcome back to Tribal Council.
Before we vote, please answer the question assigned to you. Post your answers on this thread.
Alicia, how was the Girls' Night Out? Did you learn anything about the Ogakor Tribe?
Debb, how important was it for you to win this first Individual Immunity?
Elisabeth, how have the two former Tribes interacted over the last few days? How are they similar? How are they different?
Jeff, how do strategies change now that we're in the Merge portion of the game?
Keith, do you think old tribal loyalty comes into play here with this first vote as Barramundi? Why or why not?
Kimmi, is there anything that the Ogakor members could do to survive this vote? Why or why not?
Michael, do certain people stand out as threats? What makes someone threatening?
Mitchell, do you think there is any way to crack the Kucha Tribe? Why or why not?
Nick, having been safe for so long, are Kucha Tribe members itching to vote eachother out? Why or why not?
Tina, is there anyone besides Debb who should feel comfortable at this Tribal Council? Why or why not?
You will send your votes to the Host in the forum's "Messages" (Not the Google Hangout). Please title the message "Tribal Council 7"
When voting, please provide a few reasons why you are voting this person.
You are voting somebody out of the Tribe. Votes are due 7:00 PM Mon. Aug. 31. Anyone who fails to vote in this time period, will cast a penalty vote against themselves.

Kimmi, is there anything that the Ogakor members could do to survive this vote? Why or why not?
Jeffrey! This question to me is so much better than your last. I guess you have gotten practice with Ogakor. Seriously, though, I do feel bad that the three of them have had to endure so much of you. Unfortunately, this is a numbers game, and we have 7-3 advantage. Everyone has worked so hard in this game to get to the point they are at. The thing all of us can do is keep fighting. I don't want to see anyone give up. This is a long game. Trust is the thing that gets everyone the furthest in this game. But, in all honesty, I'll be shocked if a Kucha goes.

That's an interesting question you ask Jeff. This is the way I see it, Kimmi has already stated above that it will be an original Ogakor member leaving. She also spoke about how hard everyone has worked to get where they are yet even with a 7-3 advantage they're not willing to sacrifice one of their own. It's not like we can do anything in a 6-3 scenario either. So the usual pitch is presented which is that someone has to be on the bottom of that 7 and if they don't make a move now they won't get another opportunity. People are telling me they don't want to split the vote and give the wrong message but all that says to me is that they're not here to play the game, they'd rather just let the game play them. I have nothing to lose, Jeff. If I don't go this vote it will be the next vote or the vote after that. No one has given me any reason to think they want to work with me or any of the original Ogakor members. And honestly if that's how it plays out I don't want to vote for any of the original Kucha members to win when they weren't willing to play the game and make moves. So maybe not making the Jury wouldn't be such a bad thing. But hey, if they want me to work with them and get past final 7 I'm all ears.

Alicia, how was the Girls' Night Out? Did you learn anything about the Ogakor Tribe?
Girl's Night Out was fun! We did learn that even though their first tribal there was an inactive that the vote was crazy and not unanimous. Their tribe definitely had a harder road to get to this point.

The two tribes are like a big city girl going into the Australian outback. In this case, the much smaller Ogakor is getting a taste of the vast and wild Kucha. I've really bonded with the new faces and would be sad to see some of them go. The interaction has been good, but I can ultimately tell that the ex Ogakorites are like putting on a new shoe that hasn't been worn in enough yet. Maybe as after another challenge or two they will ease into the shoe more, but for now they definitely need a shoe horn. <3 <3 <3

I wouldn't say we're itching to vote each other out. We made it this far together so it would be stilly for us to not take advantage of the lead we created. It's been nice to not have to strategize but I am excited to start playing the game and I think the rest of Kucha would agree.

Keith, do you think old tribal loyalty comes into play here with this first vote as Barramundi? Why or why not? With coming into tribal council down 7-3, I think the only way to survive the next 3 rounds is sticking together 100%. Unfortunately, it seems that not everyone thinks the same way. We would be dumb not to think it wasn’t either myself, Tina or Mitchell going home, I mean, why do anything otherwise? So my strategy would be to find someone who is either a weak link or big threat. There doesn’t seem to be an obvious weak link so on this occasion it would be a big a threat. Now I’m told it’s already a done deal. I have made attempts to express my enjoyment in playing the game and willingness to participate. This has fallen on deaf ears so I want to leave you all with some facts.. A decision has been made 4 hours after the challenge ended. You had the opportunity get to know 3 lovely people and possibly take out someone who is going to be a huge threat in the very near future. You’ve chosen to keep a person who is very sociable, skilled in extracting information without giving up anything in return. Someone who is obsessed with the game, who has even hosted the game and someone who is just frankly annoying, rude and obnoxious. You can call me angry and bitter, but word of advice, reflect on this and think about your own game. Make the decisions that are going to help you, get to the finale. Take out Kimmi. If you’re yet to vote, why not throw one her way?

Keith, you're sort of right. I danced around your questions in our brief conversation. You really should have waited to play as Terry Deitz in Exile Island. You really expect for three people to jump over with you, Mitchell, and Tina when we have worked so hard to keep the seven of us together? You had a strong agenda going into the conversation we had. I believe you also pressured Mitchell into trying to get people to vote against Michael. Now you want people to vote against me because in group chats I'm playing my character. Yes, Kimmi IS a social person. Yes, Kimmi IS VERY OBBNOXIOUS and slightly ANNOYING. But, rude. Rude, I cannot handle you calling me. I love this game a lot, and you did to Tina what Terry did to Sally, Austin, and Nick. You force her to bring you back information to try to use against us. Half the things you said in your answer about me you got from Tina and not from our conversation. Of course, me just liking to talk to people, and my tribe can attest. I like to talk about life. I like to get to know people for their character and their heart. You came at me hard, trying to force me to give you information. If we had that conversation in real life, I would have been looking for help from others because you had me that nervous when we were talking. So, yes, I asked everyone if they would vote you out. But, I still said if anyone felt like Mitchell or Tina was a better option, then we could vote that way. But, this is the kind of way you deal with things. You try to force people to follow your orders and never even tried to get to know the person behind the mask. Amber was correct, you are a rat. Actually, no, you are a snake. You sit in the grass and wait until other creatures in the wild injure something, then you go and squeeze the rest of the life out of it. (Maybe this is the rudest I will get.)

Hi Jeff!
Winning immunity is always an important thing. Even if you don’t believe that you need to win immunity, that could be the day your tribe was plotting against you earlier and you could have no idea. It feels awesome to be wearing the necklace tonight. With a bit of chaos above me, it’s always good to be immune when they are call outs happening, so I couldn’t be happier about the win!

The beauty about playing this game virtually is that everything has receipts. I asked Kimmi some questions about the game. Knowing the odds of survival are completely against the Ogakor three and with just 48 hours to make an impact, there isn’t much time to truly get to know each other and make friends, particularly on a busy weekend. You’ll notice that Kimmi’s response has been edited. For those that want to see, please contact me. Kimmi - being asked questions about the game is NOT the same as being sexually assaulted. This is a highly offensive comparison and crosses the line in this game. I’m at peace with how this vote might go, but comparing my questions to sexual assault because I asked if you have all been getting to know each other and if anyone in particular has been quiet, is totally uncalled for. Remember: 1. Kimmi has hosted the game 2. Kimmi is obsessed with the game 3. Kimmi can reference every season and all that has happened 4. Kim embellished our conversation to make it sound as though I did something terrible (receipts below - happy to share the whole string of you would like to contact me) Is this somebody you want to play with? If you are yet to vote, there are already 3 votes against Kimmi, she can go now if you choose. And if not now, when?

Jeff, how do strategies change now that we're in the Merge portion of the game?
We've been a pretty close tribe so far, so it is unfortunate for Ogakor coming in to the merge with just 3 members. For me personally, my strategy hasn't changed too much. You want to work with people that you trust; while I know that it was a quick turnaround with merging and trying to get to know people, the Ogakor members while pleasant all spoke with me, but none of them really dived into game talk or tried to pitch themselves as to who should stay or why we should keep them. Eventually this will come to a point where we have to start picking off our fellow Kucha tribemates, but when there are 3 extra people with whom we don't really know and don't really know that we can trust, it unfortunately does make things here at the beginning of the merge a bit easier.

do certain people stand out as threats? What makes someone threatening?
Jeff, so far I don’t think any major threats are standing out, however for what makes someone threatening it just on the person really, some people may find that social people are the threatening ones, or maybe it’s the ones that always compete well in challenges

Okay! So I clearly missed a lot of drama today. WTF is going on?!
I was going to say that virtually everyone on Kucha probably feels comfortable knowing they have numbers on their side. I don't know how or why all this extra drama started, but HOLY SHIT! This game is not easy, and this is just getting more and more wild. If I'm here for the next vote, I'm terrified of what can happen next.
